We have not told our boys yet, as we are waiting until we know for sure. But luckily our eldest is very keen to see new places and learn new things...so fingers crossed he will be as excited as us when the day comes. I think maybe, get them involved in the process, with showing them things to do in the area you are going to live, and what they can do in school, sport-wise for example. Try and make it as interesting and exciting as possible for them. Good Luck! I will let you know how we get on when the time comes (if all goes well).

Thanks Petals. It all feels rather overwhelming right now. But very exciting as well... Trying to figure out which suburb we should start out in, ideally it would be great to find the right place straight away, so the kids can stay in the same school from day dot.

Hi, we are a family of four (two boys 4 and 8 years old), we are currently going through the visa process. Getting excited about the possibilities of being in Victoria in the near future. But we have so many questions. We are looking at the area between Torquay and Geelong, and would appreciate any comments and advice regarding this area. As so far our knowledge is very limited.
