Hi all, We are a uk couple with a 3 and a half year old little girl, living in Holland Park West. My wife is 29 and a full time recruitment consultant and I am 34 and a part time chef / part time stay home dad. Its been a bit of a whirlwind since we got here as my wife started work a week after we moved to brisbane, and so we havent had a chance to go out and meet people as a family. would be good to meet up with some similar people with similar interests, and hopefully make long lasting friendships for us and our daughter. The one the gp referred me to was the one that couldnt do it. not much confidence in the gp now.

Hi, my three and a half year old is due her routine blood test which she gets every 3 months. we went the local health centre (garden city) and have been told they cant do it for someone that age. does anyone know of somewhere which can do blood tests for a three and a half year old? we dont have a car at the moment so will be using public transport from Holland Park West. can anyone recommend somewhere close by please. Hi, I came to Oz around 4 months ago from Scotland with my wife and three and half year old daughter. We moved to Holland Park West 6 weeks ago to be close to my wifes full time work. I am now a stay at home dad which is all new to me. I am a chef and work a couple of days a week while my daughter is at kindy. This gets me out and about a bit, but wondering if there are any other dads, new or old to the area in a similar position as I don't know anyone here, would be good to get together. Cheers, Vinny
