  1. My partner and I are looking to go to Perth in november on a working holiday visa. I have an NVQ3 plumbing qualication and 7 years experience. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to get work without taking the expensive skills assessment certificate before leaving the UK ? thanks
  2. My partner and I are travelling to Perth at the end of the year to do our 417 working visa. I am wondering whether we need to apply for a Tax File Number (TFN) before we leave the UK so it doesn't affect when we land jobs in WA. Any help on this matter is appreciated
  3. Me and my partner are going to Perth at the end of the year to do our 416 working visa for at least a year and we both hold NVQ 3 qualifications in Plumbing and Hairdressing and both with over six years experience, we'd like to know would we both need to have skills assessments done before we can get work ? I've seen that an assessment for Plumbing can cost £1300 this is a cost I'd like it avoid! If I'd absolutely have to take an assessment what would be the minimum level to be an employee? Any assistance would be appreciated
  4. Hi, were travelling to Perth in November with a 416 working visa for at least year and were wondering what the best way is to get any medical cover in the unlikely event if either us needing any. Is it a good idea to take long term travellers insurance out ? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
