Hi there! Signed up on here for a bit of general advice I'm 22 and I will be travelling alone. Which is a bit daunting! I'm setting off on the 13th of August to Cairns. Reason being, is that i have a friend in Tully which is just south of Cairns. So i'll stay with him for a week or two. I hear Tully is a great place to find farm work? I haven't really got a plan to be honest. I'm getting away from England!! If i love it then i will stay for the 2 years, and then maybe look at going somewhere else. Maybe go round the world. Whilst i'm in Oz i just want to work/travel/make friends! Just looking on Gumtree for backpacks. What would be an ideal size? Do i need jabs? Is it easy to make friends? Any other general advice would be great! Literally cannot wait now... Cheers guys
