I was thinking about booking backpackers HQ it seems pretty good and has excellent reviews, im 22 and after quitting my job in march to go to Cancun for spring break with my mates i cant find any work up here so never been a better time to do this! By looking on here it seems pretty pointless sorting plans until you get there because anything can happen, and you could meet people and end up travelling with them, hope everything goes well for you and you enjoy it, add me on facebook if you like, daniel wintrip x

Hey Georgina, my circumstances seem very similar to yours, im travelling alone and will be landing in sydney on August 6th, im a bit nervous also but very excited, im also looking at doing my farming as soon as I get there but will take any work I can get to be honest, im new to backpacking althought I have travelled the world quite a bit with friends and family, where are you staying when you arrive in sydney? X

Yes I have my working holiday visa, and I havent sorted anywhere to stay a of yet but been looking at some hostels in sydney, will I need this white card for farm work?

Hi everone, After being out of work since April in England I have finally found the courage to get my working visa and booked my flights in August, now the date is getting nearer im beginning to get more worried about finding work in Australia more so that im travelling alone, so just a couple questions. Im flying to sydney but im looking to either labour in construction or some kind of farm work, what is the best way to go about finding work? Do I register with agencys? Also after arriving in Sydney in August where is best to look for work? Im happy to travel anywhere. Any good websites or contacts would be excellent as getting very nervous. Thanks in advance
