Hi L, Thank you for your input and it's greatly appreciated, we are heading back to Berwick this weekend to view some more houses but would also like to look at some in Beaconsfield. I understand the schools are of a good standard in both Berwick & Beaconsfield which is pleasing. Like you said I'm hoping to miss the 'heavy' traffic in the morning I could possibly look at the Princes Highway on the way back home perhaps but that's probably busy to! My wife would get the train to Flinders from Berwick and she works 5 mins from Flinders so fairly straight forward. Thanks again. Lee

[h=2]Hi,[/h] I'm looking for some objective opinions on the suburbs of Narre Warren, Berwick & Beaconsfield. We spent some time in Berwick on Saturday and liked the feel of the place. As we have recently gained permanent residency we are now actively looking to buy a property and identified these suburbs as potential locations, my wife and I are in our 30's and plan to start a family next year, for work I am at the bottom end of St Kilda Road and my wife is 5 mins from Flinders Street. Apart from work we don't need to be near the CBD and are ideally looking for a suburb with a community feel that we can become part of for the long term. I have flexible start times and would set off between 6:00am - 6:15am and return at 3:30pm would I encounter heavy traffic on the Monash at this time? All feedback is greatly appreciated.
