@Mrshubs We filed our visa in February, still no interview call, no news, its just waiting game for us all now,

@murtza4u Congratz, can I ask how long have you been with your partner? its highly unusual to provide 100 visa directly. and did they interview you both?

Totally agree with Nemesis what he said,

They just interviewed the main applicant, just for 13-15 mins. Nothing requested during the whole process.

Congratulation Murtaza. Hope you and your partner lead a blessed life ahead. If you dont mind me asking, can you confirm what is your residency status, and also if youve been in a long term relationship with your partner, as that could help explain the direct grant of subclass 100?

I've been a silent observer of this forum for the past few months, and I would really like to thank all the people who've taken the time to make this forum a very informative one for applicants of this visa class.

    Thanks everyone.

I am PR holder and have been in a long-term relationship with my partner. But I submitted the application for 309 subclass and they granted me 100 visa.

  3. Alhumdulillah-e-Rabbil-aaaalameeeen,,,,

You can update your details by using Form 1022 and submit it to the department.

Hi Riwaty, I checked Form 1022 and it is for "Notification of changes in circumstances". I found another more relevant form 929 which is for "Change of Address or Passport detail".

I think the change in circumstances is something else which can affect the decision on your visa.

    What you think guys?

Small time lurker here, first of all congratulations to everyone who have received their visas, may you be further blessed with happiness :)

My husband applied for the partner visa from Pakistan in June 2016. We had all our documents finalised by May, and on June 16 he sent the paperwork to the embassy. A couple of days later they asked for his medicals/biometrics, which he sent. About two weeks later the embassy asked for more documents, which we then also sent through email. However, a month later we found out that our documents weren't read because they were not attached as PDF files, even though they had not stated to do this anywhere! So my husband then had to re-send the files as PDF.

We did not hear anything from the embassy for many months after that. In November of 2016, I went to visit my husband on a one month trip to Pakistan. We notified the embassy of my trip through email, and emailed them again of my return. On the 25th of January 2017 I had my interview after receiving a call from the Pakistani embassy here in Australia. It went well and was only 12 minutes long (I was asked mostly about my recent trip, my studies, financial support, where my husband would stay when he arrives, and what I like most about him). After my interview however, my husband did not receive any call. It was not until the 18 of May this year that he received his interview call, which thankfully also went well according to him. A day after the interview he was asked to send another police check. The police check was applied for and submitted after 10 days on the 29th of May.

And now we are waiting...just waiting for their response. It's so hard being patient sometimes, especially when you miss each other too much :(  I want to ask however, why were our interviews held four months apart? Why didn't my husband get a call right after mine? And how much longer must we wait? :((

I think, it takes a bit longer for male applicants (migrants).

Finally a good news has arrived.... ?

Got an email of grant of visa from AHC Islamabad.... ?

I played a trick and it worked... I was asking them for progress of my application via email and they were coming up with routine answers over the email... BUT this time i have sent them an email wih change of circumstances as sponsor has changed residential address with a tenancy agreement...  even though its a minor change but definitely the person went into the file and finalized it... sent email at 12:00 AEST got visa granted email at 20:00 AEST... so i reckon if your file is over 9 months just update some minor things "only minor things"... hopefully they will go into your file and if most of the things were already completed.. they will try to finish it... thats what normally most of the offices do.

i hope it work for u guys as well... as i picked up this trick from the last person who got their visa approved the same day when he updated some documents...

    Good luck everybody ?

Wow,,, Tons of congratulations @Momy... really happy for you. What initial entry date you get? What was the last document the department requested?

    Regards

@ghaffarahmed any update at your end? Do you remember when exactly your status changed to 'Approved' in your account? I noticed you got an interview call in just 4 months (MashaAllah) Are you newly married? or have kids?
