Hi everyone, I hope someone can help on this one. My best friend is on a 457, his girlfriend is on the 457 as a dependent (she works). He's just been told he might be made redundant, so he will start looking ASAP. We know that once they get the notification from DIBP, they have 90 days to find a new sponsor or leave as the visa will be cancelled. Our question is, can his GF keep working in those 3 months? Online documentation has conflicting info about this. Thanks everyone in advance!:yes:

Sure! I am in the education field and I am based in Sydney. I worked for 6 months with the same company that sponsored me. I have experience with same company + experience in the field in other 2 countries + 2 degrees if this can help anyone with requirements.

Good on you, the thing is that my MA sent nomination and application all together, so I don't know if everything will be processed together.

Hi everyone! My MA applied for my 457 on 02/05 - tomorrow it's two weeks and I have no news (my online status is always stuck in Process Commenced). The MA sent together nomination for the sponsor and my documents for the visa, so I am afraid is going to be a while before I get my visa. Anyone had their 457 approved in these weeks, or is waiting for a decision at the moment?
