Phil Arling

I'm hopefully moving to the Brisbane area of Queensland at the start of 2014 with my wife. I currently work as a HGV driver in the UK and have a C+E licence and have held it for 13 years and this entitles me to drive 44 tonne articulated trucks. I am wondering whether I will be able to change this on a like for like basis to a Queensland licence or whether I will have to take a test etc? Or possibly I would be granted a smaller HGV entitlement and then have to work my way back up. Any help on this would be very welcome. Cheers ​Phil
