Hi Emma, hope,your well, and enjoying the sun, I am moving to Brisbane in 4 weeks, we are heading to paddington or Bulimba, or very nearby, we will be renting a holiday unit for 9 weeks in suttons beach (Redcliffe), I am moving with my husband and two children aged 3 and 5' I'm 42' and like you enjoy most things.

My family and I are moving to Brisbane very shortly, we have picked either Paddington or Bulimba, or very nearby suburbs. My daughter is nearly 6 yrs old and currently attends a catholic school, I was hoping someone could advice me on the school admissions, how do we get on the list, and have I left it to late, or is it worthwhile visiting the schools once we are there, I'm not sure what is the best way. Also can anyone have any idea as what schools are the best in those areas, I have looked at few, St. Peter's and Paul's, also need a state school. My son is 3yrs old and goes to pre school, again, do I need to get his name down now? Is it the same as UK...do you get a certain amount of hours free, or do you have to pay for it all, we have residency. Thanks you to a home who can give me advice.
