We are moving to Oz in a couple of weeks and were planning on shipping our TV's but just wanted to check that they would actualy work?! They are approx 4-5 years old, HD but nothing to fancy (ie 3D or smart TV). It is a lot cheaper to ship them (just £50 per TV) so hoping this would work to avoid us having to buy a new expensive one out there. Thanks Kerry

We have missed the boat of doing it before as we booked the honeymoon in my current name and by changing the booking we incur massive costs. Any ideas how we change from Oz? Thanks!

Thanks! The only issue doing it before is that all my visa will be done in my current name. We only have 2 weeks between wedding/honeymoon and moving so imagine it will be a nightmare to change things in that short space of time! ​

Hi All as per my previous (first ever) post, I am moving to Oz in June. We will have just got married so do avoid any issues with visas and travelling out there I will move with the passport in my current name. I would then want to change it out there. Has anyone got any ideas on how this process is done. Any advice is very welcome! Thanks ​Kerry

Hi all I am new to the forum! We are planning on moving to Oz mid June and are looking to send boxes of stuff out there (clothes, photos etc). We decided against a full shipment container. Can anyone suggest any good compnaies who can help with this or give some guidance about costs, how long things take etc. Someone said you can just send it through The Post Office but others have said to use comapnies. Also how to do I know what customs I will need to pay? ​Thanks Kerry
