A massive moan needed........still waiting for our visas to come through!! We have had to move from Germany and leave jobs, house and schools nearly 6 weeks ago, being told our application would be processed mid April!! We are still waiting around in other people's houses, kids out of school and trying to do anything to stop the kids from killing each other!! our families have been fabulous having us, but I can't wait to have my house, my kitchen, kids not sharing a bed, etc...... Hurry up please xx

We have spoken to a few estate agents in the area! After a couple of hiccups, an estate agent we had been spoken to specialized in ex forces housing, and it went from there! Also the school I had already spoken to in the area and one that I wanted said they could only take us in if we wherein the catchment area, and with this house it is!! A lot of research and a lot of emails!!

We are heading to Coomera Springs, north gold coast! Husband has a fantastic job working for an ex squaddie boss so they are on same level which helps!! I work in special educational needs, and will look once we are over and settled!! We are on a 457 visa too!! hurry up next week!! it's nice to know people are in the same boat as us too!!

Our visas are here imminently!! Flights in 2 weeks!! Cannot wait to get out and start our brand new life and meet so many more people! My husband got out of the British Army 4 weeks ago after 12 years of hard army life! At present, we are living out of bags going from one house to another with our two young children 4 and 7, out of school!! House sorted, schools, bank, health insurance we just need those bits of paper!! Arrrggghh, come on!! It's very hard work at the minute, but hopefully will all be worth it!! We are so nearly there.......
