great answer, I know I'll have to work hard and all that but things in the UK have really been getting me down for a long time and I know its a cliche but the weather has a lot to do with it, its not the only reason but its a biggy.

hi there the thing thats coming accross to me is that moving to OZ isnt going to be the silver bullet, its not the land of milk and honey that some people might expect and there are pros and cons however if you get it right it can offer you a lot.

thats exactly the sort of thing i was looking for. i know I'll miss people and stuff but because i qualify for the highly skilled work permit then if I could get more out of my spare time that would be great and having the extra sunlight in the evening will allow me to do more, and besides I feel like a bit of an adventure

thanks for the response, good call as well. Ive been thinking that my lifestyle is limited because of the crappy weather, now I know I cant base a re-location on the weather but it does have a lot to do with it. At this stage its just ideas and research and chat.

H There Im seriously thinking about moving out to OZ later this year and am researching cities to move to, at the minute its looking like Melbourne is the front runner closely followed by Sydney. The questions I have are along the lines of, is the quality of life better in OZ and does anyone regret making the move from the UK to OZ. Cheers
