My friend who did her farm work got pulled through immigration for hours. I just don't understand why they would put you through all that stress when the work is genuine? Do they just pull through random people so it's kinda pot luck? Makes me very nervous! How can they possibly moderate it / prove you did or didn't do it?

Hi Guys & Gals, I've just been granted my 2nd yr Holiday Working Visa! Yippee!! (I'm currently in the UK). A little concerned though and I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice / their own experience... I heard from a friend recently that when her friend re-entered Oz on the same visa she and her friend got quizzed at the airport about her farm work and had to supply phone numbers etc. All this kind of information is placed on a form during the 2nd yr visa application process so why are they being questioned at the airport? You hear all these nightmare stories about getting through immigration... surely if you've been granted your visa there shouldn't be any worries? :confused: Let me know what you think. Please don't think I didn't read it properly and haven't done my research but I was just very confused... my brother, only 3 months ago applied for this 2nd year and didn't have to fill out the form and so I didn't understand why I did and was merely seeking the advice of others (isn't that what this website is for??) and felt I was going round and round in circles on that website and was a little stressed to say the least. Anyway, I've filled out the form and submitted it now as assumed that was what I had to do. So regardless of what you may think I thank you both for your help and here's hoping I've done it all correctly and get my second year granted.

I've had a look on this website and couldn't find any information about the form (don't know if I'm not reading it properly), therefore I am still none the wiser?

Hi Guys and Gals, Me again. So I've applied for my 2nd year Working Holiday Visa, when I go to check the progress of my application is asks for me to fill in the Holiday Working Visa: Employment Verification Form. WHAT IS THIS? IS THIS MANDATORY? What do I do if I haven't got the signature of my employer for when I completed my 3 months agricultural work? Any help would very much be appreciated! Thanks, Sacha

Hi Notts, Me again... I have actually just applied for my 2nd year visa, so thank you for that! Quick question... I went to view the progress of my application just to make sure all was ok. Hi Notts, Thanks for your reply. I did indeed do three months of regional work... I just wasn't too sure if I could apply AFTER I'd left the country and AFTER my 1st yr visa had expired but from the link you sent me, it would appear that I can? Thanks, Sacha

Hey Guys & Gals, Wondering if anyone can help? I left Australia last Oct (2012) and my 1st yr holiday working visa expired in Dec (2012). I did some farm work in April which I have details for.... MY QUESTION... Can I still apply for my 2nd yr holiday working visa or is it too late? ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED! Really want to go back... not too sure if it's possible?
