Thanks for replying! We would like to go to WA. Would be looking for state sponsor as my brother has only been living in OZ for 18 months. Did you find having an agent helped to sort out your visa? do you think you could do it yourself?

Hi Me and my partner are thinking of applying for the 489 skilled sponsored visa. My partner is a Carpenter and joiner and therefore listed on the SOL. Would be grateful if someone could share their experience if you have applied for this type of visa. I would like to know costs involved, time-frame and do you still have to go through medical checks, skills assessments etc..... We like the thought of moving to WA or Adelaide as we have family there. Thanks!
