The job was mine but they wanted me there within a month to fill the headcount which is just not enough. they said they want me over there though and more positions are coming in Melbourne and Sydney up so hopefully we will be able to work something out. Bit disappointed but I couldn't have uprooted the family and got everything sorted in such a small space of time.</p></p>

<p><p>I have no idea, the job will be field based, our office is in the CBD but our customers dotted all over Melbourne so I'm not tied to any particular area.</p></p>

<p><p>I had my interview last week and they have been in touch to say they want a chat about details, so I think its positive news. Even if I don't get this transfer I'll be applying for others! Had enough of Coventry/UK now!</p></p>

<p><p>Definitely up for a meet up and chat if it is positive news! My wife has family in Brisbane and Sydney and her Grandad knows everything there is to know about Oz, so we know the place pretty well. Melbourne is one city I've never visited though!</p></p>

<p><p>Blimey, where abouts in Melbourne do you know? Will all have to meet up if you want and support each other? It's pretty lonely stuff and I'm already driving everyone bonkers and they don't know what I'm talking about with visas etc!</p></p>
