Hi there - we are in the UK, and my partner has just been given the opportunity of a full time position on the Gold Coast. Whilst initially thrilled as we have been hoping to emigrate for 7 years, after spending the last two days on the net there seems to be an overwhelming sense of negativity surrounding teaching in QLD and also the opportunities for teachers. Is there anything positive that anyone could offer me? I am willing to do anything to work so I will move out of teaching if needs be, but it is a job that I love. At present I work for an independent school here. SO ANYTHING POSITVE ABOUT MOVING TO QLD AND TEACHING THAT MIGHT PUT MY MIND AT REST !!!
