I attached all links for school, jobs, rentals, and cost of living I even sent a quote from ask Bob - lol to show I had researched the cost of living!!! . They were satisfied and I had SS with days of submitting. We are moving to the sunshine coast - how about you?? good luck Charl

Hi Brizi yeah we got our SS in June - we fly out in 5 weeks!! they asked me about jobs we had found that would suit us, email copies of advertisements, what schools we had found for the children in the areas and they wanted to know that we knew how much cost of living was such as rental prices etc - send copies of all that you find. and they did not give us an amount but my migration officer suggested around $40-50 thousand for a family of 4. all info goes via email and only took less than a week once all info had been received.... Hi beeps. We fly out to the sunshine coast on the 9th September and had the same problem. Scoop holidays!!! We hav secured a rental in cotton tree and they did us a deal for 5 weeks! It was the homeaway website. They were really helpful and the place looks gorgeous. Good luck finding somewhere charl

I thought id let u all know that my visa has now been granted in less than 2 months of applying for it! heres how my visa process has gone Ielts- October 12, skills ANAMC - Feb 13, EOI - 23 April 13, Invite + QLD SS - 24 May 13, Visa application sent - 25 May 13, Medicals 30 May 13, CO assigned 12 June 13. Visa Granted 20 July 13 :biglaugh: Flights and accommodation booked today too!!! wer on our way to the Sunshine coast 9th September

Hi all we are moving to the sunshine coast at the beginning of September and will be looking for short term fully furnished rentals around the kawana, caloundra pelican waters areas (we think)!. If anyone can help with local estate agents or someone renting a holiday home out, this would be great! thanks in advance charl x

Hi Bib thats brilliant. Thanks for lettin me know! My boys birthday is in January. So I think he goes into year 9 too! Have you put them on a waiting list or anything at the school? We have a 3 yr old to and hopefully she can go to kawana kindy aswel!! We live in north Wales at the min. How about you? We plan on living in the Kawana or caloundra area when we arrive. Hi Bib. I'm sorry I can't comment on the schools. But we are also moving over in September and are looking at Kawana and chancellor for our 14 year old son. We are edging more towards more towards Kawana. But. It's hard from the uk isn't it! I hope someone answers your questions! Good luck charl x
