woooooohoooooo......Congratulations....dear...that's just great to hear in the morning .i can imagine your happiness.I haven't heard anything since i have applied in june.I really hope everything goes well with me and others who are waiting for their visa grant.My application was DRC 186 PR.But i dont know whats going on at Melbourne office.

Visa granted :biggrin: 7:35 am Qld time this morning good luck to those still waiting we had our medicals done 31 st and they were sent to DIBP on 2 nd jan and it said on our application no medicals required, I've added that as I found any info helpful x x

just for info- case officer requesting medicals 29 days after visa lodged, no form 80 requested - Parramatta (sp?) hopefully some of you will have good news before xmas, fingers crossed for you all x x

I lodged my application on the 5th of december and now i created a account with the new immiaccount.

when i try to import my application i have to choose for which visa i applied then the TRN and then after the ORGANISATION DETAILS.

Anyone knows what is "organisation details"/organistion name??

I did the same yesterday and nearly had heart failure when it said there was no application done look further down there is another 186/187 bit choose that and it asks you for dob etc I think it was well it will let you create and import your visa app

on the checklist it says complete form 80 but on the application online its only showing 1221 really confused if anyone can help, ive even looked on the dropdown boxes and theres no form 80

Just lodged today and got confirmation email within the hour....

can i ask when do employers get the TRN as employer lodged nomination last week and i want to start filling in application and submit once police checks from uk are back, if anyone knows, thanks

oh can i get medicals done without the trn number that employer will get when they apply for nomination and is it 12 months expiry for med and police check, sorry i'm just off to find out but if anyone has already been through the process any advice would be really appreciated!

Thanks Tickled pink I'm going to apply for police checks, am i right in reading we only need uk ones been in oz a year, my eldest is 16 wont need one for them will i?

Hope you all dont mind a few questions as i'm trying to get it straight in my head! Partner has had skills assessed, does his employer do the nomination with a MA? they have sponsored before but theres a new girl in the office and she was very vague when asked what happened next! they also asked if we were d0ing it by ourselves.

If we do it ourselves without MA - were to wait for nomination but have are meds/police check ready to submit? We could do with spending as little as possible as having a few children it will cost $2000 just for meds! But we need it asap as eldest leaves school end of the year!

If we go with MA will it speed things up by much? i'm confident i can do whats needed are case is straightforward.

Hi, i'm a regular on here but have had to change name. my partners employer have agreed to sponsor him for perm residency, he isnt allowed to tell anyone as he is the only one being sponsored and there a few people on here that he works with, hence change of name. Not sure what to do have emailed for quotes on agent fees, i've totalled up the cost of the visa/medicals etc. I would love to do the application myself but from what ive read i think its best to get decision ready with the application. Im not sure if i can go ahead and get the medicals or uk police checks done now though? Anyway wanted to say hello and i'll log my dates etc as they come up for the timeline
