  1. Thank you all for your advice. I have spoken to my agent and he has sent me the info off the CEP. It states that it would be dealt with on a case by case basis. I require at least 60 credits, I have 120 from my post grad but still have the problem of proving the level of the course as above graduate level. I think that I am going to pull all my information together, including a letter from the UK CIPD backing up my qualification and confirming the equivalent and any other info I think may help and spend the money giving it a go - if I don't then I will never know and that will bug me for ever. I hope that I am not stuffed but I would rather know I am officially than give up and wonder if I would have got a positive skills assessment - at least then I can move on to plan B. If you have any other advice it would be gratefully received. Cheers. p.s Kubby can you explain what the info is in red blue and green at the bottom of your post, v new to this
  2. I am looking at Human Resources roles such as HR Advisor, HR Manager, HR Business Partner. I have secondary education and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management via a University in the UK but I don't have a First degree. HR Advisor is on the state sponsopship list for WA but I need to pass the skills assessment first. The agent was acting with the greatest of integrity to say that he was unwilling to work on my skills assessment but he did say that if I can prove that my post graduate diploma was of the level of an Australian bachelor degree then that was a strong starting point, I am just struggling to see how I can prove it. Thanks for your replys and for the welcome to the forum.
  3. Hi there, this is my first time on PomsInOz and also the first time I have posted on a forum. I recently contacted a migration agent having scored 75 on the points test for a skilled visa subclass 190 state sponsorship for WA. When I told him that I had no degree but I did have a post graduate diploma from a University we came across a problem. I am struggling to prove that my post grad diploma is at QCF level 7 right now and he is unwilling to take my application any further and has suggested that I get the skills assessment done with Vetassess for the HR Advisor role by myself so as to not waste my money. My questions is this: How can I prove that my post graduate diploma is at level 7 when it is not on the Ofqual website that Vetassess use to check qualification levels. They don't recognise CIPD membership as a qualification but I am wondering if I had confirmation from the CIPD that my qualification was the equivalent of a level 7 would it be sufficient or I am just wasting my money. My skills and experience more than fit the bill for the skills assessment but if I can't prove my qualifications are at or over the undergraduate level is it worth me applying at all. I have been round the houses on various websites and don't seem to have got any further so I hope someone on here might be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks for reading. LoobyW
