Hi i did an IELTs test in may 2011 and got a score of 8 overall,how long does this last for or will i have to retake it again as i am trying to emigrate this year.

Hi all im new to this so i hope someone can help me,i am a 37 year old carpenter living in the UK and i have done an IELTs test and got a score of 8 overall and i am trying to emigrate to Perth with my family but we are struggling finding someone to sponsor us,does anyone know where i can look or maybe have any other suggestions of how to get over.
