What about if your on a holiday working visa?

Hi guys I'm hoping someone can help me. im about to lodge my tax for the past year and I'm due to go back to England in less than four weeks is there anyway I can claim tax back for July aswell or? I'm on a holiday working visa so I'm going back to England for good. I'm just not sure how it all works!

Hi, Myself, husband and our two boys are thinking of moving to Australia. But I would like to know what to expect to earn, in order for me to see if we are able to afford to do this. I work on a critical care unit which specialises in traumatic head injurys, I have 4 years experience in this role. I would appreciate any info anyone can give me. So uk residents can fill out form 888 for the Australian de facto visa??? I'm from uk any my partner is Australian resident. We're both in Australia at the moment and applying for the visa onshore.... i just neeed to know can my family back in England fill these forms out??? THanks guys

Hi everyone, I'm just after some advice, I'm in the process of getting all of the stat decs together for our visa and I was just wondering can my family do stat decs or do they just have to do statements? im pretty sure I read somewhere online that only Australian residents and citizens can fill these out is this correct??? if my family can fill out the stat decs then can they fill out form 888 or would it have to be a different one?

thank you very much its abit confusing because we don't have any evidence that we were in a relationship prior to me moving over here, im from the uk and so is my partner who is now a perm resident. we'v know eachother for a very long time and when he was home 2 years ago we started a brief relationship but then he had to come back to Australia so we just kept intouch via facebook ect.... so basically we can only prove we have been together since the day I actually moved in with him when I arrived in aug 2012 what does this mean? does this mean that we need to wait till we have proof that we have been together for 12 months? this is all so confusing for me so I really do appreciate your feedback\ thank you

hi guys just wondered if someone could help me, ino by registering your relationship in certain states in Australia it can waiver the 12 month living requirements for a de facto visa, im just wondering is this the case in queensland aswell? me and my partner have been living together for 8 months and wont be 12 months till the last day of my visa, I don't really want to leave it till the last day because if It doesn't go through that day then that means I would be here illegally and that's not an option for me. Hope someone can clarify this for me as I really need to get this sorted asap as im due to leave my job in june as im on a holiday working visa and only allows me to work for one company for no longer than 6 months, so if I can get this sorted this would be a great help and would mean I can stay in my job

Thanks everyone I'm looking at applying for my visa in about 2 months time I'm just trying to get all of the relevant information together.... Ive just looked on the ACRO website and it says I need to have proof of the address if been living in for the past 6 months... So that will be my Australian address is this ok? And when I lodge my visa application is this when thy will ask for the police check? Can I not just apply for it now and then send it with my visa application?

Hi thanks for the info so basically I print the form off and then send it off? Can I send it from Australia? What do you mean by I will not need this till I have my invite?

When applying for a de facto visa it says I will need a police check? Does anyone no how I would go about doing this? i am from the uk but currently in Australia... can I get maybe my dad to get it for me? If so where can he get it from if not is there a web site anyone knows of where I can apply or it? is this police check a CRB?? any help would be appreciated

Thank you,, that's my next step, ill look into registering our relationship..... Yano you said evidence what do you mean by that? Me and my partner have a joint bank account... We have joint car insurance... In order for us to apply for this temp visa do we have to have our own place or will it still count if we live with my partners parents?
