  1. Thank you very much for sharing. By this do you mean "accounting experience" or "local experience"? I have 6 years of management accounting (being both management accountant and senior financial analyst) experience, but not local experience. How would you see chances of getting accounting job i.e. not AP, AR or book-keeping within 6 months? Because that's how long I could survive
  2. Congrats Andy, that's such a great news. As I was reading through your earlier post, I was thinking you should have gone ahead with the EOI since there was nothing to loose. :-) Can you share which Master course (and school) did you attend, and the job market for accountants right now? I am waiting for an invite this round Apr 22, and both hopeful and anxious about the next job hunt
  3. I didn't receive any acknowledgement email either. I used EMS to send documents so I know their receipt date by online tracking. In my case, they received docs on 30 Jan and emailed me, saying that outcome is complete and has been sent to me via post on 21 Jan. It means it took them about 3 weeks to do that. On CPA website now it says processing time is approx. 4 weeks. Once they're done, they will send the letter through post. I saw people getting the letter in 7 - 10 days previously, but not sure about time frame now. My case was a little longer than usual, I guess. P.S. I'm happy to share :-) I am in the same mood too, waiting for an invite this 22 Apr.
  4. The documents did not arrive after 6 weeks and I concluded that it was lost. I contacted CPA Aust. and they resend me the letter by DHL express, which arrived after 3 days. P.S. CPA told me that usual postage time is 3-4 weeks.
  5. Hi Morana - Thank you for the info. That's great! The wait seems so long to me. Hopefully I would have it before 4 March invitation round. I live in Hanoi, Vietnam by the way.
  6. Dear all, I'm ACCA Qualified, and applied for Skill Assessment with CPA Australia. Documents reached them on 30 Jan, they emailed me saying they've done and mailed it to me on 21 Feb. How long does it take for the assessment outcome letter to arrive? Any experience? They told me 3-4 weeks which is very loooong :-) Thank you
