Hey People Sorry it has taken a while to post here because l had forgotten my password. Well l had a safe journey and am here in Newcastle. Am not going to repeat about medicare as many people here have already done some good posts. l live in Adamstown and am loving it, my family joined me last month and kids have settled well in their schools. l am on a 457Visa which meant l had to pay school fees for my kids but there is a form which can be downloaded and sent to the department of education and they can waive the fees (If people want more info on that please do not hesitate to contact me). I shipped all my furniture with Crowns relocation and l did not insure any of my furniture it was a gamble though however, nothing was broken and the guys were very good in their job and l can Recommend them to any one looking for shippers. At the moment am waiting for the container with our cars-l posted on here a few months asking people if l could ship my car which was less than 12 months everyone said NO but hey l can say YES l managed to ship my car which was 9months and 2wks in my name. Dont hesitate to speak to those people at Vehicle imports they can advise you on what steps to take (Again if people want more info on this l am happy to help). Newcastle It is a nice place to live especially with young kids. lt was a bit difficult to get accommodation but in a few weeks time l managed to get a good house in Adamstown Heights and there is a lot of schools-catholic schools and public schools. We live just behind the shopping centre Kotara westfield which is handy for us. The people we have met so far are good and they have been willing to help in many different things. Thre is so many beaches here and my work place is just opposite Nobbies beach which is fantastic for fresh air. So far so good again dont hesitate to ask (am not a computer person l might have not mentioned what other people want to find out but hey l can reply to asked questions) Thank you.

Thank you so much CalNgary will look at these shops when l get there. Well Crown guys (4 big muscular guys) came this morning and they were on time. They packed most of the stuff, all went well today. They r coming back again to finish up the packing and load the container in the mid afternoon. l am keeping my fingers crossed for my dear furniture that it gets on the otherside of the world safe and free from breakages. Will update you if there is anyone thinking of using them.

l can not believe it am flying out next week to Newcastle. l will be staying at the hospital accommodation however, it is unfurnished.Can someone please suggest a place or a shop where l can buy stuff to use while waiting for the container. l have the shipping company coming out to pack tomorrow then the container the following day l hope all will go well. l am using Crowns relocations and will update you on how it goes.

Hi everyone I am so dissappointed in my self, l lodged my 457 visa application last night after printing the docs then discovered l had mad a mistake on our son's date of birth honestly how can this happen, l am now very worried and dont know what to do-is there anyone on here who has done some mistake on their forms and what happened, does it delay the visa or did you have to reapply. Please Help.
