Hi All, we really appreciate all the feedback. Looking at the posts, I think we will definitely be looking at areas outside of the town itself (Wollongong area perhaps, thanks Walkerfamily). It's really difficult trying to select a suitable base in Oz from the UK, we would obviously come over for a look first, but we don't have time (or money!) to waste looking at areas that turn-out to be unsuitable. All towns have good and bad areas, as in the UK, but it's so important that we start our big adventure in the right place. A big thank you for all the advice

Hi there, we are considering moving to the Campbelltown area. We have read some positive (and not so positive!) posts about this area. We are interested in reading some views from people who have already made the move to this area. We are interested in knowing what the schools are like (6 & 14 year old daughters). any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hello POC, we are planning to move to the Brisbane area later this year. We haven't decided just where, but we spent some time last November in Northern Brisbane and the coast. To be honest, everywhere seems a good place to live (perhaps it's the sun!). We received our Visas last Feb, we didn't use a migration agency.The IELTS test is straightforward enough, so i wouldn't worry too much about it FP215. I took mine at Manchester, most of the people taking it were foreigners coming into the UK. Our main priority is finding a good place to bring up our children, and obviously, finding work. I don't know if you have been yet, but we found everything in OZ very expensive. The exchange rate is pants coming from the UK on holiday, so be prepared!
