All my family now reside in Perth (2 Brothers, 1 Sister and their respective families, plus my mum & dad on a 487 ? Visa ) and We visited back in 2010, loved it and have spent the last 2 and half years getting our finances etc in order so we can set-up our new life without financial baggage. We have now decided it's time for us to take the plunge and apply. YAY!!
We are in the process of getting all the information together for the VETASSESS part of the process and I have been reading through the requirements that are relevant to the job desc under which I qualify and it states that pre-qualification experience may be taken into account.
I gained a professional certificate in management in July 2010 (level 6 on the NQF). I have 1 years post qualification experience in paid employ and then I have 12 months in freelance. My experience leading up to my qualification is very relevant and spans over 15 years in paid employ. My questions are these:
Will VETASSESS take into consideration my considerable pre-qualification experience in their assessment?
What evidence will VETASESS want to see regarding my recent freelance experience, if anything? And will being recently freelance with a brief period in between of nothing to spend some time with my family be detrimental to my assessment?
Really appreciate any input anyone can give me on the above. Sorry if I have missed out any pertinent details!
