Wasn't sure where to put this. I moved to Australia 3 years ago from Newcastle Upon Tyne and found a Melbourne Cricket club that I love. We are currently looking for new players (pre season starts 03/08).
Footscray United are a really approachable and friendly club and are looking for new players. Yes you will get all of the 'poms vs aussies' ashes talk and get ribbed for pretty much anything and everything but it truely is a great place to play.
We have 3 teams and play competitively but do enjoy a beer afterwards. Our first XI won the premiership last year.
