  1. Nobody can tell you. You might not even know you have a co until they either grant the visa or ask for more info.

It could be that they are double checking things, or your application could just be one of the many that they haven't even looked at yet.

It is a very unfair system in my opinion. At least if they processed them in the order they came in people would have more of an idea about where they were in the process.

That's right! I have not idea how they control sequence procedure. Hopefully, I wish write letter to immigration minister, absolutely unfair some just my friend they come with student visa and then they applied refugee, not only one person, they also do all fake things and they got PR quickly within few months. I try normal way any pay tax government but process takes too long..

  2. Different rcbs ask for different hoops to be jumped through. If you got a positive reply from your rcb you will be fine on that count.

I have got RCB approved last year july 2012. Nomination not approved yet because CO not lodge yet. How many chances to approve nomination by CO. Are they making double check my work employer's details? Isn't it?

  6. I'm curious ... I've seen a few people mention that their CO's have asked for recent pay slips... What do you guys reckon they are looking for? At the moment I am casual but getting full-time hours. Of course, once my visa is granted my employer will comply with the conditions of a full-time permanent position with a salary rather than an hourly wage. But do I need to be concerned with regards to all of my pay slips? It doesn't state on them that I'm casual or permanent full-time or anything... but you can see it is an hourly wage instead of the salary. But as I said, once the visa is granted my employer will begin the remuneration of a salary, etc... Will this be OK with the CO if they request pay slips? Do they always request pay slips?

I agree with that, I also same as you situation because of applying visa. Employer want to change full time category but have to wait to grant visa because of two years contract letter is start commencing get visa grant. Anyway, I can also provide when CO asking, still waiting to ask. current situation is casual full-time. That's good for me get more pay and sick leave unpaid... That's only different with holiday pay get full time entitlement.

  7. i don't know about the status of my nomination , how can i check that , as my employer is away. I was also wondering , if my nomination have approved thats why case officer would be askin for Medicals & AFP . Really worried . Thanks

Don't worry. According to the procedure, case officer asking AFP and Medical, which is means you have approved nomination. You will get grant letter soon shortly...:D Good luck.

  8. wat about nomination refusal,,

I'm not pretty sure, it is only related with between RCB(work force department) and case officer. You can review at RCB. This situation not complete in Immigration. MRT is only complete decision case and must have message like can review at tribunal on refusal letter... ginz...

    and recent 6 payslips

I just wonder if nominated position has been approved, does it means my visa application should be fine?

I know the letter said it is in no way grantees that nominee will be granted PR

I pretty sure you will grant soon....Good luck..

  12. Unfortunately there is no formula. Most people's haven't been granted in any less than four months from that period, but one poor guy on here has been waiting for fifteen months. It seems to take longer if you are from a high risk country, and just my observations, but longer if you are a chef. I guess that is more because so many people who trained as chefs come from high risk countries.

You are at least lucky in that Perth is quicker than Melbourne. :-)

Computer System Analyst, High risk country... Everything done, Skill Assessment from ACS, RCB Approved... :)

  13. That date is for applications who have been allocated to a co, not granted. Some (like mine) are granted within an hour of getting a co. Others can be waiting literally months, especially if they decide to do work place visits or they are from high risk countries.

Hi blossom how long u reckon maximum time frame for late june applicant.. for Perth

    thanks all

    Congrat! Buddy...:)

  15. I'm curious... despite the fact that there is a backlog of 119/857 RSMS applications, do you guys reckon they've got some case officers working on just the new 187 applications too? Because we have seen a few 187's granted here on the forums. Maybe it really is just a lucky dip! 5 months today since my nomination and non-DRC visa were lodged to the Melbourne office... Even if my status were to change from "Application received" to "In progress" ... it would just make me feel so much better! Maybe it will be granted on Friday for my birthday :P

Did u apply yourself? or MA? is it 119? please share your timeline
