Dears, I have arrived to SA on 1st Nov 2012 and have been struggling to get jobs in my industry (shipping and Logistics). I am on 176 (PR) visa and no where I see any conditions mentioned on my visa that I need to be to SA for the first 2 years. But my consultant thinks otherwise. I am certain through my network I could get a job in Syd/Mel or Perth within my industry. Now I understand thro other mail threads discussed in 2010-11, that I could move to another state but morally speaking it is not correct to do so since SA gov has given u the visa and you must give them a fair chance to apply for atleast 6 months. In other discussions, I learn SA Immigration is very open and does allow you to get to another state subj to you having a job in hand. I am sure there would be someone in this situation before and someone who did move to another state with/without taking any written confirmation from immigration SA - I need you to pls share your experience. What is the best way out ? what would have you done if you were in this situation? Best Regards TigerEye.
