  2. hi nikki, my hubby is sorting out the visa side of things and just keeping me updated so sorry if i dont make sense, ha. because we are going on his skills, he is going as a plumber just passed both tests, and we didnt even no we had to put in EOI in ourselfs thought we had to wait to get invited to, so mu hubby is doing this tomoz, we are applying for wa visa x
  3. thankyou that does help, we dont plan on going until next year anyway, just want our visas done so dont have to worry , once thats done we can start sorting everything out this end ready for the big move, we have passed the tests so thats the hard bit done its just u dont believe its going to happen until we have our visas granted, because we dont have an agent either, were doing it our selfs so thats another worry,thanks for ur helpx

Aww wow life is to short, and u dont want to have have regrets, even if after a couple of years you cone bk at least you have tried it and lived abit, we are in exactly the same boat, my hubby passed is IELTS awhile ago now and passed his skills test in sept, just got the results in the post that all passes, were doing ours our self tho, not sure how long it will take for our visas to get granted were applying for 190 visa for wa, will we need to get family/friends ref also? were married with 2children? also quick question about bailey are u taking him with you? we have our adorable cockapoo buster who we did plan to take with us straight away but think we are going to wait until we get settled makesure we love it b4 we pay all that money to ship him over, he will stay with my mum, we are going for a hol on 8th nov its all exciting isnt it x

Thanks for that, am going to arrange some house viewings while we are there, just to get a feel for the houses in them areas, def want a calm beach, we dont have much time to spend looking at houses but want to look at a few ,and the areas, this is so important to us, do u know of any other rental places other than real estates you recommend? thanks xx

Hi there, we are applying for 457 visas i think, permanant residency for wa, think thats right? sorry my hubby is doing this visa side of it, and he is working away for 2wks atm , just unsure how much longer we are looking at? and any other major hold ups? or is it all simple now the tests are completed? we are all healthy x

Hi guys me and my hubby are all excited for a 2week road trip to wa(perth):biggrin: on 8th nov, we are hiring a campervan so ruffing it abit, what is the weather normally like? will it be cold on a nightime? we are only taking holdals so dont want to pack unnessary items of clothing, will it be boiling? just nice, any tips would be brill, do u get alot of mossys on a nightime?thanks rachel and kirk

Hi guys, i will be 31 when my we move to perth , after being granted perm residency as a family, but am wanting to do my nursing degree, does it cost alot of money? could anybody help me with who to co:biggrin:ntact to see what i need to do to qualify to do a nursing degree? any help would be great thanks rachel

Me and my hubby are coming on a holiday from the uk beginning of november we are hiring a campervan for 2weeks, is it best to take cash or visas? if cash is it cheaper to get it exchanged into dollars while in oz or change before we go? dont want to keep geting cash out if it costs alot and bank machines but dont want to take lots of cash if its unsafe? any tips or advice would be great thanks rachel and kirk :biggrin:
  14. me and my hubby are coming to wa beginning of november and hiring a campervan for 2weeks to get a good feel for perth and look were we wana live, we will be child free when we come so want to get as much done as possible before we all come out to live, can you guys please advice nice places to live so we can view some houses around see what there like? we are a family of four, 2 girls age 3 and 5 when we move, dont want to be near the main city, dont mind travelling an hour to get into the city, near a calm beach, want a nice 3/4 bedroom house, my hubby will be on the rigs or FIFO , family friendly peacful safe suberbs with plenty do do parks etc? any recommendations would be brill thanks rachel and kirk :biggrin:
  15. thanks Rupert, am not sure if u can take dogs everywere is perth am from Cleethorpes and summer time your not allowed dogs on our beach so wasn't sure if its allowed in perth? I didn't want to bring buster to perth if he isn't allowed in most places? we are going to perth 1st 2wks on November so we will know abit more then, what is the rabies process do u know? how long do they need to be quarantine for in perth? thanks again

Hi there, any advice or help would be brilliant, we are moving to perth in april at the latest, we are a family of 4, no friends or family there, we have a 9month of cockapoo who we would love to bring with us, but worried that with no friends or family it wouldn't be fare on our dog or us?? can dogs go to all parks/beaches? we will be out all the time, we cant leave him behind, also do most nice rented houses allow dogs?? also the new rabies vaccination n quarantine rules is the process even longer now? thanks for all your help, I want my buster to be happy and be with us if its possible? x
  17. hi guys, wer gpoing to perth in a few months to see where we want to live and get a feel for the place before we all move over there, not sure what airline is best to use for price and quality? is it best to book flights well in advance or wait or does it not matter? thankyou x

  19. either way even if we dont settle at least we have lived abit and sein australia, am sure we are going to love it, we love everything we do, we are a jolly happy family that loves nothing more than family time out door living is for us we know that, am counting the days until we visit perth kid free so we can see much as possible! :-)

  21. true, we have every intention of making it our future home, we have to give it a try u only life once and should follow your dreams, just seems scary that so many people dont settle thats what worries me, or maybe the only people that start a thread that want to come home, the people that are loving it and settling are to busy to be posting on here, thats hope so ey ! thanks guys
