I'd deffo reommend doing it in the classroom, the guy running the course confirmed that some of the big sites(union ones) wont accept an online done card and even a guy who was in the class said he'd done the test and got the card online and he got turned away from a site. I did mine today in the classroom(edway training) and took about 4/5 hrs and was easy. bit pricey at $120 BUT theres no problems afterwards and you get your certificate the same day then get the card sent out and i should receive it in about 2 weeks. job done many thanks folks

I've spoke with a trades recruitment agency and the guy on the phone recommended I do the course in a classroom as its better recognised with most sites. he also said that once I have that card it will be accepted in all the different states. I just hope what he said is correct. going to find a place now in melbourne to do the course in the classroom. thanks folks

Hi there Im currently in melbourne VIC and looking to enroll onto the white card course to get some trades,construction work however I've been doing some research online as to which course to do! Apparently there is different courses for different states i.e VIC,NSW,WA.... I've also read that its now nationally accepted so there is no difference between the states and any card will be accepted?! I've read that the course in VIC has to be done in the classroom and cant be done online...?! Can anyone clarify any of this to me as I'm a little bit confused with all the different bits of information I've found. Many thanks in advance Mat
