That is where I get confused, as a network and system engineer,who should have more knowledge and skills in network structure and operation systems. has anyone who already got the 236111 assumed please give me some advice thx a lot:biggrin:

I am really confused with the computer network and system engineer, on the ACS which said Plans, develops, deploys, tests and optimises network and system services, taking responsibility for configuration management and overall operational readiness of network systems, especially environments with multiple operating systems and configurations, and provides troubleshooting and fault-finding services for network problems. Computer Network & Systems engineers are involved in the design, installation, repair and service of computers and associated equipment. Senior engineers are responsible for total system performance, which can require the use of project control techniques and the supervision of other staff. Senior engineers can be required to design the more complex hardware equipment required to operate systems. but on the Example knowledge and technical requirements section all the skills(Databases: MySQL, Oracle, Access, SAP Software: Microsoft SQL Server, DB Artisan, Eclipse, Visual Studio.NET, FrontPage Languages: C#, Java, Visual Basic, ASP, XML, XSL, JWS, SQL, and T-SQL) are unrelated with the job. Can any one help me to explain that? appreciated :biggrin:

Hi everyone , I am a bit confused about the points system. In the Educational qualifications part, which said Diploma or trade qualification completed in Australia, or qualification or award of recognised standard 10 points, I have a diploma of Computer and network finished in China, a diploma of translation and interpretation(2 years )finished in Australia, and a CCNP certification, so here is my question: am I able to get this 10 points, and which one of them should be included in my application ? My second question:"One or more degrees, diplomas or trade qualifications awarded by an Australian educational institution and meet the Australian Study Requirement 5 points" as i mentioned I done a 2 years diploma course of translation and interpretation in a low population growth metropolitan area 5 points, which is not related to the occupation i am going to apply, am I able to get 5+5 points from it?
