Thanks for replying everyone, I really appreciate it. I'll be working in a hospital so I don't really mind where it is. It's my husband who'll more than likely be working in the city so it'd have to be probably no more than 30 mins commute an more than likely at peak times. If anyone could suggest anywhere, that'd be great. I'm not too bothered about schools just yet as my little boy is only 1. I'm not looking at buying just yet, probably rent for a couple if years an then think about buying. Many thanks

Hi, this is my 1st time posting as we're very early on in visa process. Basically myself an my husband with 1 child (1 yr old) will have roughly a joint income of $170,000 we were just wondering how much realistically we'd be able to pay on rent. We have no debts/credit cards etc. just need a rough idea as I get all excited looking online at the property over in Brisbane then wonder if we'd be able to afford it. We were possibly thinking around the $600 a week? I honestly have no idea. If you could help me, I would appreciate it. Many thanks
