Hi there! I'm Eric, I was just reading a post on the forum concerning agricultural work (fruit/harvest) in VIC. I'm becoming frustrated when looking on google, as I have no idea what to search to get useful results. I will contact some of the farms on the list provided, but I was wondering if any of you knew any other jobs in the eastern area of Melbourne? I am trying to get my 2nd year WHV due to meeting a girl (cliché I know), who lives in the eastern suburbs & would prefer if I could stay near her. I have 5 months left on my current visa and so it would be ideal if I could organise my agricultural work ASAP. Thank you very much for any possible help!

Hello, I am heading off to Melbourne on a WHV and am meeting my brother and a friend. As they have already been in Melbourne for 4 months, they will be moving on to do their 3 months agriculture 8 weeks after I arrive. I will definitely be doing this with/at the same time as them and we are then planning on travelling Asia etc. before returning to Australia for the next year + of our visa. Anyway, having looked online for insurance, I find myself getting confused as to what type and dates I need to put on my insurance application. So I was wondering what type/length/amount/company I should be looking for? Or any comparison websites you guys would recommend? Thanks (and apologies for basic questions), Eric.

Hello everyone, Im heading out to Melbourne on the 30th of Jan and was looking for advice on moving to Australia on the internet and came across this forum! I think I have everything in order and am prepared but have decided to join incase I have any last minute questions! Anyway, I am a 22 year old from Manchester and am going over to meet up with my twin who has been in Melbourne since we did camp america this summer (ending in Sep). Very excited to get going. Eric.
