  1. @Taffyowen Your CO changed ? Our is from team 34 Brisbane, initials P.M. Our CO was so far very quick, and immediately answered to our e-mails. I have also attached FORM 1022 again to our online visa application, but I really could not attach BC and passport for the newborn to the application, because I do not know where to put those attachments. Now, we are all waiting... P.S. Tried to e-mail my CO, got the response that my e-mail was forwarded to another e-mail, now I am too worried.
  2. @Taffyowen Then we are in the same boat. We have just received passport and already have a BC for a three weeks old, and I am about to scan them and send to CO. We also need his HAP ID for Medicals, although we postponed medicals for the whole family. When did you send passport and BC ? How long have you been waiting ?

    Pregnant

Another thing, it seems that we do not need to pay visa fee for the newborn baby
  4. I am about to add a newborn to the 190 visa application, and I have seen on DIAC site that I don not need to pay . " You do not need to pay the additional applicant charge for newborns that are born after you lodge your application, and before we have made a decision on the application." Is this true ? Has anyone been in the same situation ?
  5. Hopefully, we all will before July  After postponing the Medicals in February because of pregnancy, I gave birth, and we are now waiting for the baby`s passport. As soon as we receive it, we will contact our CO, do the Medicals and then wait for the grant.

    Pregnant

I was also pregnant when submitted my EOI, I am the primary applicant, and when applied for a visa. When CO asked for Med, I have sent her pregnancy report from the hospital, and asked her to postpone medicals for the whole family. She approved, I had to fill Change of Circumstances form, and CO has asked me to send her baby`s birth certificate and travel document when I receive them. I gave birth two weeks ago, got the BC, but not the travel document. When I send it to my CO, she will ask us to do the Medicals, and approve our visa. Hope it helps.
  7. @rachel 85 My ex signed a statutory declaration, in front of a court official. CO asked for form 1229, and a scanned copy of his passport. You don`t need to have a solicitor, it`s a waste of money. If you wish, I will PM you the text we used.
  8. @Taffyowen Our CO postponed Medicals for the whole family until the baby is born. She said that as soon we send her Birth Certificate and passport, that she will create a number for the baby`s Medical as well. I think we will need one month to get the BC and Passport, then we will wait for her.
  9. We have team 34 Brisbane PM. I have sent police checks to her via e-mail, and uploaded them on my visa application, 10 days ago, but still the status did not change to received. Maybe they are stuffed with work. Since the baby is due in May, there will be at least a month before we get him a passport , so we are counting on receiving the visa in June-July, it is fine with us
  10. @holspols We too lodged the visa 15 Jan, CO 26 th Feb, requested Medicals and PCC. We sent PCC, but delayed Medical because of the pregnancy. We have nor received any e-mail from CO about delays. Did you get the e-mail from the agent, or the CO ? I really do think they will issue us all visas in before July.
  11. As far as I know, today is a public holiday in Australia.
  12. LadyB, you are right . Thanks for good wishes
  13. Do not open the envelope ! Contact your CO, if you do not have one yet, wait until you do. You are not allowed to see the results, Panel Doctors are obliged to send the Medicals to your CO.
  14. Joydeep, I applied on 15th January , and I have WA SS. Got the CO from team 34 Brisbane, sent form 1022 - change of circumstances ( pregnancy ), as well as a medical report showing I am pregnant. CO postponed medicals for the whole family until the baby is born.
  15. I got a CO yesterday, TEAM 34 Brisbane. She has asked for medicals and police clearance, BUT ! I am pregnant, and not so willing to undergo an x-ray. I will try to postpone it.
  16. @minagmaxwell Good for you  Congratulations.
  17. I heard it happened to people earlier, do not worry . Do not know what to tell you about the functional English .
  18. No reason at all I did not claim points for my work experience, I did not need them. I am claiming points for my Uni Degree, but I have Vetassess Points Test Advise Letter to back it up. My worst nightmare would be to over-claim points, so I have decided to better be safe than sorry. I am in no hurry to get the visa, since I am pregnant and hopefully CO would not ask for Medicals before the child is born ( 2,5 months more ). I expect to get a CO in the first week of March, no sooner.
  19. Status of my uploaded documents have also changed to received. Still no e-mail from CO. I have not done my medicals yet, because I have called the doctors in my country to make an appointment , they have told me to wait for the CO to ask for medicals.
  20. If your occupation is assessed by Vetassess, then you need to go through full assessment process and pay some additional fee for Points Test.
  21. I uploaded the documents I think I will need, but I can not upload a Statutory Declaration ( permission ) for my child to migrate, because I do not have that option on his part of the application. Instead, I have that recommendation to put it for my husband who is a grown up and does not need it. I will have to wait for my CO to ask for it. I also do not know where to upload proof for my bonus 5 points as a NAATI Interpreter, I do not have it offered in my part of application. Any news ? Did anyone get a CO ?
  22. If you wish only your qualifications to be assessed, you need to apply to Vetassess Points Test Advice , and pay 265 , or 285, I can`t remember exact amount.
  23. I heard that you can get something like a Traveler card in India, and the bank will issue the card quickly. You can pay for a visa with it.
  24. No you don`t. Three days ago I paid with a VISA ELECTRON ( debit ) card. When you enter the payment options, you have a choice credit/debit card. Just make sure that the bank increases your daily limit for one transaction, I had to go to the bank and sign the request for lifting the daily limit only for that transaction. Good luck.
