  1. old country girl like me will take any challenge.....thanks again
  2. No I m not and there is no Union on site... The buisness is way to small for that. I know and can prove he is close to been illegal ...I keepd a Log from Day 1 of timings, takings and doings.... but here lys my problem, if investigations starts I m sure we get shut down.... and i have only 28 Days to find a Job somewhere else or pack up and go..... And thats what I m scared off.
  3. I hope I m posting that under the right categorie, but I m new here so please forgive me Now my Problem, I been here on a 457 Visa since last Year and been approved untill 2017. But my Job turns out to be the never ending Nightmare. For the first 8 month i was called a f...ing illegal Immigrant working 75 hours a week and only 1 Day off a month. I was so close to burn out that i wanted to call it quits. Than my Employer gave me 3 weeks off as my Daughter came over and over the Xmas periode our Firm was shut. On my Return i found somebody else was employed who done/ does now my Job and all responsibilities been taken off me, only to be put back onto me on that persons day off. Now i get 1 day off a week, but it still works out 57 hours a week. And on them days that person is working besides me i have to do Jobs way below my qualifications. I keepd asking when he will pay my taxes and Super ,always got the answer..." The taxaccountent is looking in to it" I do get treated like the last piece on earth, and now today after waiting for my wages wich he still not put in MY account but into someone elses, i realised its not just me i have to think of but also my responsibilities like paying rent on time...etc How can I get out of a situation like that, I know i can transfer my Sponsorship but that takes time ( I think) but with so much dodgy dealings going on arround me I m so so scared to get deported if someone ever would look into it. The only few friends i do have told me, not all Australian Employers are like that, so whats the first and best thing for me to do to get back on my feet and actually live and work all legal..( I know its sounds cheesy but i cant explain it any better) Any advice is much welcome thank you for reading this
  4. Hi Rupert, Well my Employer put that down when he applied for the sponsorship and my Visa was granted...so the 800$ a week must have been enough for immigration to accept him and me. Its not the money whats the trouble, i know as a chef/cook i can get paid more...its the constant name calling ,working 10 hours a day and having to worry every payday if i do get paid. After been in the workforce for almost 30 years this is just one dream gone horrible wrong :-(
  5. Hi JonnoA, Thank you for your answers, The only thing my employer paid for was the Visa, all other cost i paid myself so IF things turn realy bad he could only ask me to pay him the 2000$ he said he had to pay. I ve been on that link and it says there i can only change employer after 12 month. Now that scares me a lot as there is no way i can survive another year with him. As I m not sure if i can get into Detail on a posting, lets just say an Aussie would have taken him to Court long time ago. thank you for the tax info also Allegria50
  6. hello everyone, please help me with the following 2 questions: How much does it cost to get the sponsorship transfered to a new employer? How much tax will be taking off me on a 50.000$ a year take home? thank you ever so much for taking the time to read and hopefully answer my question Allegria50
