We have a friend who is a midwife and she registered with UnitedCare and she along with her family moved to Brisbane a few years ago. You can either look on Seek.com.au at avaiable jobs and do it that way or search nursing positions in Australia. You can get some companies who will sort out the visa process for you if you're what they want! With regards to your daughter the only way of her getting to like it is to go and experience it, maybe a holiday or look see where you're planning to move before the big step? Good Luck!

Hi Guys, My Partner and I are in the process of moving out to Brisbane in April and we are currently getting quotes from companies. We aren't shipping out a whole load of stuff (About 12 - 15 boxes) of personal belongings, DVDs, clothes and our bikes. So far we've received a quote from Dolphin Removals (a local company in Crosby, Liverpool) for £485 and this is not including any insurance etc. I thought this was a little pricey - am I being a tad naive? Does anyone know of good and relatively cheap shipping companies which we can get a quote off? Thanks in advance for your help and guidance, A bemused Tom and Jen :err:
