  1. Melbourne Office! Id give it an other couple of weeks before i'd start to get worried. Once the ball gets rolling its very quick!! Good luck!
  2. nope!!! i think thats more for teaching or nursing! didnt need health insurance either because Ireland has a recriprocal healthcare agreement with oz.
  3. sorry for the delay in replying to you. Submitted all three applications, sponsorship_nomination_visa application, on the 24 April 2013. The case officer communicated with us regarding spon and nom on the 17 May 2013. We answered his questions and supplied more info the following day. Spon and nom were granted on the 28th May 2013 and our visa applications were granted on the 29th May 2013. Seeing as we did not use a migration agent I was very impressed with the Immigration Dept replying to us so quickly.
  4. I would just like to thank everyone who posted on this thread. All comments were extremely helpful. Our visa was approved last night and we're delighted. If anyone needs help with a 457 visa application in the future then dont hesitate to ask, I know the application process backwards at this stage. Thanks again!!!!
  5. The business is an Australian entity. Registered in Australia. Has an ABN. In terms of providing "comparative market salary information" all I can do is show the case officer similar job advertisements with a similar wage. There are no equivalent Australian citizens/permanent residents working in my position in the company so I cant show him someone else's payslip with a similar salary.
  6. no agent unfortunately, we tried doing it ourselves, hopefully the case officer will be lenient!
  7. Visa applications have been lodged. We have received contact from the case officer after only 3 weeks. He requires more information. In regards to the Business Sponsor Application he wants information pertaining to the structure of our business. For the Nomination Application he is requesting evidence of equivalent terms and conditions of employment i.e. proof that what they are paying me is the same as they would pay to an Australian. We have hit a wall with these questions and dont know what information to supply. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!!
  8. My employer is not approved to act as a business sponsor. I will also be paying for this. Thanks for all the info you've provided!
  9. just got another quote.....wait for it.....$7023!! $5250 of that is professional fee's and $230 is 'expenses'! my company has never sponsored before so that might be increasing the price but 7K is absurd, id be better off trying to get into Canada!! reckon we'll try apply for it ourselves and forget about the migration agent. my role is Quality Assurance Officer, hope its on that list everyone is talkin about!!!
  10. did you use a migration agent to it for you or do it yourselves? if you did it yourself is it quite difficult?
  11. ive been in contact with a registered migration agent called True Blue Migration and they are saying the overall cost is $4300. $3300 is their fee and the other $1000 is government charges. Anyone know if these amounts are correct? and also has anyone applied for this themselves without using a migration agent?
