  1. Thanks- I have been doing my best to look at the website but as I am waiting for Telstra to fix my Internet its proving a challenge looking on my phone! The page I did load up on the site for teachers with overseas qualifications just says more info coming! Do you happen to know if there is a lot of relief teaching in Bunbury area or the best way of me judging whether it is worth my while going through all this? Thanks again
  2. thanks for the reply, just wondering if it's right then that I have to pay $450 to the TRB? Seems an awful lot! They also cant guarantee I will be successful, but I'm guessing as a British teacher with 3 years experience I should qualify?
  3. Hi all, Trying to find out how I can relief teach in WA. I am a British Primary Teacher and have been told to check several different websites, have called Education department who told me to call someone else.... Been quoted $100 for a qualifications assessment and $450 to register as a teacher. Is there anyone who has been through this process that can help me actually get somewhere. I only want to relief teach in either State or Private schools for around 6months. Is this all worth my while? Thanks in advance for any help!
  4. Great, will try all of these suggestions - will make contact with the paper and cross my fingers!
  5. Hi there, I am working in Bunbury, WA but have only managed to secure part time hours and I am looking to work as a nanny/babysitter/tutor. I have 10 years experience with kids and have just left my job as a teacher back in the UK. I have got my WWC and police clearence and first aid no problem, but I can't seem to find any work. Does anyone know where parents go to look for babysitters etc. I have tried Gumtree for weeks and various babysitting websites (findababysitter etc) and have had no luck! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
