  1. unfortunatley some people suffer with homesickness alot worse than others do but then thats all down to the kind of person that you are. moving to a new country is always going to be difficult whether ure moving by yourself or with family/friends. its a huge adjustment and takes time.its when you still feel like this say a year or 2 later that you really need ask yourself is this really for me? talking it over with someone who understands or who has been in that position can really help i think.
  2. well thats not entierly true!! what is it with people here thinking that its so much easier here to find a job? i know from experience that leaving ireland or the uk to relocate to australia does not guarantee you will get work.
  3. i couldnt have said it better myself louise!!!!
  4. hi ya, god i feel so bad for ya i really do.coming out to australia no matter what part is always going to be a gamble.I think a lot of people think that because the sun shines here that it has to be better than the uk! that simply is not the truth because australia defo has problems of its own. you need to think long term now.if you and your family are not happy here and you dont see that changing then maybe it is time to go back.I understand that you have left everything to come out here but you just need to tell yourself that life is 2 short to be unhappy and you only get one stab at it. I wish you the best of luck:)
