No I'm a permanent resident I've been here a year and only had 2 weeks work!!!

Hi all I posted the other day looking for carpentry work have had no joy been looking for about 8 months I've handed out c.vs rung companies and spoke face to face with people but just no luck apparently there's not a lot of carpentry work up this way I'm on the sunshine coast and willing to travel to Brisbane just wondering if there's any tradies out there looking for an apprentice or labourer I'm a hard worker quick learner and not stupid I've got a family to support here and times are tough at the moment. So if there's anyone out there which could help I would be truly grateful
