Hi All,On Monday I will be completing the application for the skills assessment.I am choosing to do an online application.... i hope that the process is as easy as they say on the website?I am nervous about the uploading of my documents incase i have to many & what if they can't read it?It has taken me a good 4 months to get everything together & now once its submitted there isn't a lot else I can do So nervous incase I don't get a positive assessment.....Has anybody else recently done this?

Hi, I am just compiling all the documents together for my partners skilled assessment (Trade - Fitter)I understand that they need to be witnessed/ certified....I thought that a police officer could do this but now I have read that it needs to be somebody 'legal' I.E solicitor.....is this right? If so, what will they need to write to certify the documents? and will they need a stamp?Thank youDanielle

Hello, I am looking for some help with the Skills Assessment – we were going to go through a Migration agent but after reading a few threads on here I realise it is manageable to do ourselves. My partner is a pipefitter & the examining body will be TRA – has anybody done a skills assessment through these and can help clear up the process? What documents do we need to include? Can a policeman certify the documents? Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me, seriously confused...

Hey, So this morning my partner got his results from his IELTs - he passed & got the scores we needed woop woop! So the next stage is the skills assessment.... From what i have read online he needs to get his certificates & documents etc certified as true copies, as u can't send the originals off, as we are in the UK does anybody know who can certify these documents? Policeman, Doctor, Solicitor? Or will it have to be somebody from the Australian Embassy? Thanks in advance

Hello, My partner has his IELTs test booked for the 6th Dec, being a Tradesman he isn't very confident with his reading/ writing.....& we have been doing ALOT of example tests etc to try and ease him into the test process......But he is now panicking about the IELTS & that he is going to fail.... We need him to score 8's in each section of the tests, being an Englishman, he should be ok with speaking and listening he is just worried about the reading/ writing. Has anyone recently completed the IELT's and can give me an honest answer on how it really is? Cheers in advance guys
