Hi, I'm going to Australia in May for a year, staying in perth with a friend, my friend has asked for me to bring some stuff with me because its not the same In Australia as it is in the UK (or its a lot cheaper in the UK) he wants HP brown sauce chocolate mayo chilli sauce marmite Shampoo shower gel Random stuff, but will I be ok taking all this in my suitcase?

Hi, just doing a checklist to make sure I'm doing everything right... I'm 20 and gonna apply for a 1 year working visa, going to live in perth with a family friend First thing I've done is... send away to get my police records(using the ACRO website) next I'm gonna book a med test, I'm in the south east so we use one in London... Do I just phone up and book myself in? And what happens once that is complete do I get the results sent to me? after that I will apply for the visa (any one know the adv waiting time) Is that anything I need to get there? Anything missing? apart from flights Any more help would be great thanks

Hi all, the visa I'm applying for is a working Holiday (subclass 417) Got some general questions about it and Australia How long does the visa take to be accepted or not accepted? ive got a small history with the police, I've been arrested before but never been to court or paid any fine... I'm thinking off using the ACRO police check and paying to see what I will need to mention on the vista appication... One of the questions on the ACRO form asks you if u have ever been arrested, if yes what for? I don't actually know what my arrested went down as? Should I just give information on it? Is it defo worth using this website, I guess I can't just go to my location police and get information on myself there? best websites for cheap flights? (so far the cheapest I found is 735 pounds April till December) how easy is it to get a job out there (for a 20year old man) (in Perth) any information to help me would be great thanks

1) They didnt have enough on me to charge me for the gbh.. didnt go to court they just put me on bail for a couple of weeks then closed the case and charged my friend but not me because i was only there not involved . 2) I got a caution for the criminal damage... didnt go to court, no fine or anything just got given a bit of paper from the local police station, and the police saying that was my last change (Been good since that) ... And I dunno what visa to get yet, as i have never been there before im thinking the 12month working one, what visa will i be more likely to get accepted

Hello... I am currently 20 years old and live in the U.K My Girlfriend and her family are moving over to Australia in January (They have all their visas and everything ready) I have came to a decision that I am going to go with them... (I have never been to Australia before) When I was 18 I got arrested for Criminal Damage (A silly mistake when I was drunk) got let off and didn't get any fine Also When I was 15 i got arrested for GBH - Another silly mistake but when they found out what really happened they let me off because i wasn't involved as much as they thought Do they find out about all the details of the arrest(s) ... So basically will they know the ins and outs of the arrest or will they just no what it was for and what the outcome of it was? Any Info/help would be appreciated... thanks
