Hi guys, I'm after a little advise. currently in my second year of a 457 visa and want to apply for residency. I changed jobs in April this year and have been told that I carnt apply for the direct entry. I'm getting really confused with it all and starting to get a little worried. Any body know of an agent in Canberra I can talk to and get some help with it? I don't know if I'm ment to do the TRAassessment or wait before doing it. Getting abit lost with it now.

I made a few friends getting out and about on my own, but the people from work helped me alot, looking forward to meeting new people from here tho.

Im 25, and moved to canberra last year on my own. I found it pretty easy to meet people, lots of friendly people around easy to get around the city, couple of hour drive to the coast and to the moutines etc. recommend it as a place to move too

Hi all. I moved over to canberra on my own 12months, only just heard about this site so thought I would say hello. This would have probably made things easier to settle in but hey better late than never.
