Thank yoooooou!! :wink: I had contacted my CO every 3-4 weeks asking for an update and she was really very good at replying and reassuring us, but she replied each time that there was nothing she could do to speed up the process. After 3 months had passed she started to chase our medicals for us and stated that an email with all the overdue medicals were sent to the MOC every week. So I just had to be patient. I'm so glad the wait is over now!!! :notworthy:

Thank you for your support, the waiting is soooo difficult :mad: ... but thankfully it's all over now ... WE'VE GOT OUR VISA!!!!!!!! :jiggy: Hope you all get the good news soon, can't tell you how amazing it feels!! ... must go, busy day ahead, house to sell and one way ticket to buy!!!! xxxx

Hi Just to make you all feel better, i'm still waiting and have been for 4 months, 2 days, 11 hours, 23 minutes and 10 seconds (approximately!) On the bright side though, if there's a prize for the longest wait I think i'm in with a shout!! :laugh:

Hi Candygirl, sorry I don't have any up to date information, in her last email she said she would chase things up and her previous email was about 3-4 weeks earlier and at that time she was quoting 'early November' so it's all still a bit vague! Having been hanging around here a while though, it does seem that they don't follow any strict date order, some people are dealt with really quickly whilst other people take a long time. Hope you hear soon :wink:

Hi RichWJ, I feel your pain! 15 weeks for us today, I should probably bake a cake or something :twitcy: I have been contacting our CO for an update every 2-3 weeks and she had been updating us on the dates currently being processed, however when i contacted her last Wednesday she replied that she was now chasing it up with the MOC so hopefully we will all hear good news soon!

Hi Amitbd I don't think there is a way of checking up on medicals under Skillselect, other than through your CO :mad: but if you do find a way, please let me know :wink:

Not sure how it works, latest from our CO is that they are processing from 12/11/2012 so there seems to be some conflicting information out there. Maybe there is some other priority system in place working along side the date system to fast track certain professions/ points scores??? Either way I will try to continue to be patient as all good things come to those who wait ... and wait ... and wait ... :arghh:

We are also waiting for medicals to be finalised, my OH was referred on the 9th Nov, our CO (team 2 Adelaide LC) has been so helpful and responsive but unfortunately I think the only thing we can do is wait .... it's good to hear experiences from others in the same boat though :smile: ps - who do I contact to be added to the spreadsheet??

Hi All Haven't posted for a while so i thought i would give an update. My status at the moment is ... confused! :wacko: lol My CO has informed us that my husbands meds are waiting on the MOC's decision, we haven't had an email from Global Health (as i've read has happened in other peoples' cases) & our evisa hasn't been updated in anyway, but we're presuming this means the same as 'referred' Presuming we have been 'referred', we are really confused about the timescale. Having read the post on here about medicals refered, it initially looked like on average 3 month wait, but on having a closer look it seems to come down to various factors such as paper or e-medical, type of visa etc and there are many who have been cleared within a couple of weeks. So at the moment we are continuing with the obligatory, early morning email check. My CO seems to be very helpful, although I don't like to pester her too much, but i think I will send her a wee email next week to wish her a Merry Christmas and ask her kindly if she has any idea on timescale. :wink: After a very snowy week up here (and more forecast for the end of next week) I would really welcome some good news, it would make it easier to know that sunnier climes are on the horizon!! Ah yes, that favourite saying of Scottish Mum's everywhere!! lol ... and probably true. By the time we get Christmas & New Year out the way they'll hopefully be well through the list :smile:
