Hi all ,I hope you can put my mind at ease a little ! We are flying to Brisbane on the 6th July ,but I'm having major doubts ? Is this normal ? We've booked a apartment for 4 weeks also a car for the same,hoping to buy a house and car by then .The wife and I don't have jobs to go to ! I'm a boilermaker by trade and the wife is a accountant. Are there any jobs in our trades ? After reading a few very negative posts on here makes me feel even worse? We have just accepted a offer on our house after being on the market for a year ,so all things good but I keep having these doubts (are we doing the right thing)this has been our dream for so long but !!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for any thoughts in advance

Hi, we're a family of 5 moving to Brisbane in July .can anyone tell of what my chances of finding work as a boiler maker,sheet metal worker.i currently work for rolls-Royce in the aero space side of things making combustion panels ,air ducts and all different bits for aeroplanes .after reading this forum for a while now would I be hoping for too much ?..thanks in advance

hi all ,we a family of 5 are moving to brisbane on the 11 july .weve visited brisbane a few times and loved it .after reading the forum for a while now just getting a little aprehensive as there seems to be alot of negative talk about australia ie jobs housing .were hoping to live in coomera waters ,helensvale or upper coomera ,I just saw a article about the high school in coomera witch was not great I know things arnt perfect but I cant believe all the negativity .thanks in advance
