That's a shame. So the only way i could work in Australia would be to apply for permanent visa?

Thanks for the comments. Don't think am going to go having checked what they are after. Glad i asked on here first would have cost me £60/80 to get the ticket and travel to Manchester.

Hi everyone, newbie here Getting fed up of this over crowded country (UK) and want out!! Been thinking about moving to Australia for awhile now. Need a new challenge cos am not getting any younger (33yo). I'm a joiner/carpenter by trade. Just wondering how i go about applying for visa's and other stuff. Love the outdoors and the ocean.
