Hi, Just to update that our Family's (Husband, wife and two kids under 5) medicals were uploaded by our Health Assessment Centre through e-medicals on 27th Dec (Myself and both kids) and 30th Dec (Wife), status of which is now reflecting as finalized for both kids and myself, whereas my wife's medical finalization is still pending. We're hopeful that these will be finalized by tomorrow at the latest.

Hi, Need advise from Senior members. I received following email from my CO before my meds were finalised (i.e. on Dec 03, 2012), could anyone advise how much time other checks take to complete??? ( I undertook my PCC & Meds on the instructions of my CO and now they are talking about o/s checks..why????)...further my CO has also not updated my meds finalization info on the system..should i contact her again asking for the same? Thanks Bishnu! I think they do..my finalization date is also shown as Dec 08, 2012 on the immi systems.

Dear All, By the grace of Allah, we have been finalized today. It seems the call to GH finally worked! Thanks everyone for your valuable inputs and support in this matter. Now, keeping our fingers crossed for the Visa Grant.:smile:

Dear Claire, Same case with us...we were referred on Sep 7th but still waiting for our finalization, when many others beyond our date are being finalized. So, Called GH yesterday and the lady seemed surprised that ours were still outstanding but still gave the standard "Backlog response". On my request, she committed to refer our case to MoC and gave us hopes that our case would be looked up in the early next week. Keeping our fingers crossed,

I tried calling them a number of times today but received automated response. Looks like we are in the same boat, referred much earlier but still waiting for our Meds to be finalized. Regards, Umer

Hi All, I wrote to my CO asking if all other requirements have been fulfilled apart from our medicals and got following response: "Apart from the medicals results which are still outstanding there are other checks which are currently outstanding and which are conducted by external agencies. Until all checks are completed I am unable to advise on the likely date of finalisation." From some of the other forums i got the impression that CO's only requests Medicals/PCC only after external checks are completed but due to some strange reason, in my particular case CO asked for the same even before the checks were done at their end?? I sincerely hope that all such requirements are fulfilled well in time before my PCC/MEds (Still to be finalized) are expired. :mad:

I asked her the same, she told me that they are processing paper based applications referred up till 25th September 2012.

Hi, Got this reply from my CO: "I am unable to advise on the status of your medical assessment as this is conducted by an external agency only once they have deemed the medicals to be cleared will the status of your medicals be updated electronically." Subsequently called GH today and was advised that they have "Huge backlog..." and they are processing cases referred up to Sep 06.

Dear Sylvia2012, Unfortunately, as you can see from our timeline, our meds were referred on Sep 07 and as per my last call to GH on Monday, they were processing cases referred up to Sep 06, 2012. I have again checked for any updates just now but its still showing them as referred.How can they just simply jump from Sep 6 to 25th leaving all other in between pending???:mad:

Call between 2:30 - 3:00 pm Sydney Time (GMT + 11), I usually get the automated response on the initial try but it gets through on the 2nd, 3rd attempt.

Hi, Just called up GH and was told that they are still processing eHealth (Online) applications referred upto 30th August 2012.
