My partner and I have been here for 2.5 years on a 457 visa and are thinking of trying for a baby- does anyone have experience of being pregnant on a 457 and if so can you do it all via the public system? We do have BUPA cover(not inc pregnancy) but have never been able to claim anything on it so considering downgrading to ambulance only and saving the $400 we pay each month.The medicare website states that with the UK -Aus reciprocal healthcare arrangement "almost everything" is covered but despite my best efforts I haven't been able to find out what is not covered! Any advice on the pregnancy question and any related costs much appreciated!
