1. Hi Denis... I kind of went thru the same thing as u, but got the updates by contacting them directly at: Email: health.strategies@immi.gov.au Phone: +61 286665777 Just give them a call and they should update u on ur health status.
2. Hi! For immediate response on your medicals status, please call 61 286665777 or email health.strategies@immi.gov.au!
3. Hi Naseefoz! I am not sure about this. I would advice you to still go ahead and include it. It is not going to affect your application any way. Since it is less than 45 days, you won't even need PCC from that country. So please go ahead and include it rather than hiding it.
4. Hi naseefoz! Yes both my spouse as well as myself have traveled to foreign countries and we had to include those details in the form 80 as well as the Visa application form. They don't really need exact details, but at a high level, like the place you stayed and not necessarily the exact address. And the CO did not ask for any additional proof. I guess the reason why they need this foreign countries info is mainly to determine if an additional Police Clearance is required, and for stays less than 12 months in any country, no clearance is needed. Hope this answers your question!
5. WAYYYY 2 GOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Congrats my friend!!! Awesssome feelin aint it!!! So that leaves us waiting for Paul's good news next!!
6. Hi pwsebb! I may have a "VISA Granted" status to talk about, but there is another old story I want to tell you about! 2007 July - I applied for a Skilled Australian Sponsored [sub class 138] visa through an agent. Every single morning, I would wake up and check my email hoping to see an update, but all I saw was... nothing! days turned into weeks, months and then a couple of years!!! My agent would just send me a "about few more months to go!" email every 6 months and I would continue to wait with hope! 2010 June - A sunny morning I FINALLY see an email from my agent! My heart was pumping and stomach churning!! Was it a grant?!! Is the wait over??? I open the email to find an attachment which read: "" This application is one that is affected by the “cap and cease provisions” outlined above and on 25 June 2010 the cap was reached. This means that for the reasons outlined above, this application “is taken never to have been made” and no further processing can occur. "" All my hopes and dreams DASHED by this one email!! It was a feeling I hoped no other visa applicant should ever go through! So it was in 2011 Dec that I decided to give it another shot and apply "on my own" for a quicker and realistic Visa - The Skilled Nominated 190! And here I am, thinking about the past! So if you look at your situation, you are WAY WAY better placed than I was before! Please do not worry about anything as your visa is being looked at and no longer in a queue. Just a bit of documentation which I am sure you can sort out and which you will - you have come this far haven't you! Just a few more days... Go through it... You will cherish it! Cheers! God Bless!
7. You got a feeling that the system doesn't work too well? Wanna see how well it does not work? Just look at the plight of the people [me included] in this thread: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/123787-evisa-system-currently-unavailable.html It was 2-3 weeks of hell for all of us!
8. Hi jbb! Well looks like you have pretty much done everything expected of you and just the CO assignment [assuming it has not happened yet] is pending. Now here are the probabilities... 1. You get your CO assigned any moment now and thereafter maybe asked for additional documents if required. 2. You could even get your grant letter any moment as I have seen in some cases! So in terms of timelines, there isn't any definite one in your case as it could be any moment!! Good Luck! Coming to your question on medicals, there are 2 ways you could get your health status: - Email your details to health.strategies@immi.gov.au - Call 61 286665777 and provide your Passport Number and DOB You will get your details immediately.
9. Hi! I must say this was a gripping little narration of your weekend which thankfully ended with happiness! I mean I myself was so gutted when I reached the middle of your paragraph, but then... thats some lovely news at the end of it all! Its just about time now! Once you send your PCC, its all done! Fingers crossed and waiting for the glory email!! Cheers!
10. Ok for point 1 above, you could provide the Offer Of Employment, Pay Slips, Relieving Letter or even any Award or Appreciation [Certificates] that you might have received. Basically ANY proof which shows the Company's name on it. Along with this, you should include any data which talks about the closure of the company, maybe a website which indicates it. Coming to point 2, this is kind of a rare case! If I were you, I would still provide all the documents as mentioned above along with any data which talks about the name change. You could include their website address which might have a section that talks about the change.
11. Hello! If you have got the Health Check List [with Health request ID or HAP] along with the acknowledgement then you can go ahead and schedule your meds. In fact you can also go ahead with the PCC as the CO will ask for it any way. The only thing which can wait will be the Form 80 as it really differs from CO to CO whether they ask for it or not.
12. Welcome to the gang Uma! Congratulations!!
13.

May-02 SS Applied, Jul-11 SS Approved, Jul-12 EOI Submitted, Aug-14 Invite Received, Sep-10 Visa Lodged, Sep-25 CO / Meds, Oct-12 VISA GRANTED!

14. Hi pswebb! Turning you down is out of the question so don't think in that direction! The very fact that they have asked you these documents means that your gift is very much on the way! Different teams process applications in different ways, including the documents they request post lodgement, so just send them whatever they ask you and be patient! Expecting your "relief+happiness" email very soon!!!
15. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Like I said... just a matter of time! Very happy to hear this mate! Mine was also Team 6 by the way! Cheers!!
16. Just about time then! You are going to see that email in your inbox any moment!
17. Hi Uma! Firstly, thanks for the wishes! I don't think the CO expects a PCC for people less than 18. I know a friend who also applied for this Visa and he didn't send a PCC for his son who is less than 18. So just get the PCC for all applicants above 18 and send it to the CO. You are free to contact your CO in any case, so just drop an email stating whatever you were told by Passport folks. Nothing to worry! Just about time for you then!
18. Hi Folks! With immense pleasure and relief, I just wanna say... I GOT MY VISAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously didn't expect it so quick! So all you folks waiting out there, hold on to your seats for the surprise coming your way!! I contacted my panel doctor yesterday asking them why my wife's medicals were not yet finalized and was informed that they had forgotten to click on the 'Confirm' button! Once that was done, I just shot an email to my CO telling him about this delay and I woke up this morning to see the Visa Grant Letter in my inbox! Truly amazing feeling...!! Best luck to all of you waiting out there... Its just about time! Cheers! God Bless!!
19. Hi! I tried calling the eHealth again this morning and I am so glad I did! They told me that my medicals were finalized but NOT my spouse's! The reason is because my local panel clinic is yet to finalize my wife's medical report and send it to DIAC!! I called the panel clinic and they say it has already been sent and that they will check again and get back to me! So the hold up has been at my panel clinic's end while my CO is still waiting on them to send my wife's data! So all those who are waiting after your medicals, do feel free to contact eHealth at: Email: health.strategies@immi.gov.au Phone: +61 286665777 Thanks again Nataraj for providing the above information! I am now waiting for the clinic to get back to me... fingers crossed!
20. Hi Nataraj! Tried calling them this morning 9:30 AM IST but got an automatic answer that they are unable to answer the call now in spite of it being their working hours! Guess I'll email them then...
21. Oh thats great! Ok I'll try calling them first! Never knew there is such a helpline to find out about health status! Thanks a ton Nataraj!
22. Hi Nataraj! Thanks for this! So I just provide my TRN number and Health ID's [myself and spouse] asking for the status?
23. Hi Folks! Congrats to all those who have got their visas! Must be a huge relief after all the hard work and waiting! My case: Vic invitation Aug-14, Visa Lodged Sep-10, CO Sep-25, Medicals Sep-25, Uploaded all Sep-28... Waiting!!! Please advice as to when I can start worrying!! Meanwhile, I observed in my Skill Select login that the "Progress" section for ALL my documents reads as "Received". But the Health related documents still reads as "Required" even though I have uploaded the receipts and completed Medicals way back on Sep-25. Should I contact my CO for this one??
24. Well my CO sent me this generic PDF document called "Request Checklist" which asked for the following: Evidence of Character [PCC] Evidence of Health [Medicals] Form 80 So looks like they ask this for folks who are applying for the first time. I have a friend who is also a migration agent and he reckons that the Form 80 and 1221 are mandatory for all applicants above 18 age.
25. Hello! Just to answer your question, yes it is mandatory for all applicants to complete the Form 80. The CO will anyway ask for the Form 80 along with the medicals and PCC. So you may as well get it filled and scanned-ready. Another thing to note is that there is no option to upload the Form 80 in Skill Select so I had to email it to the CO.
